Michelle N. McGuinness, MA, CCC-SLP, is a nationally certified speech-language pathologist and the Founder and CEO of WellChild. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
With over a decade of experience across schools, clinics, and telehealth, Michelle has worked extensively with pediatric populations. Her work with an innovative autism and ADHD telehealth startup helped shape virtual care models and patient engagement strategies, furthering her passion for building accessible, scalable systems that center families and quality outcomes.
At WellChild, Michelle leads a team that blends gold-standard assessments with culturally responsive, family-centered care. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she brings a multicultural perspective that allows her to serve diverse communities with empathy, flexibility, and clinical excellence.
Michelle’s specialties include autism, expressive and receptive language, executive function disorders, apraxia, fluency, and bilingual language development. She is also trained in PROMPT, AAC, and the Hanen Program.
Michelle earned degrees from Fordham University, The City University of New York- Lehman College, and Columbia University.
As a founder, Michelle is committed to leveraging technology to close gaps in pediatric care, particularly for historically underserved families.
Outside of her professional life, Michelle enjoys yoga, literature, travel, the arts, and exploring new cuisines.
